LEVC appoints new dealership in France as Lyon welcomes the electric TX Taxi and VN5 Van to its streets

Ansty, 21 February 2023 – London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) today announces the appointment of Felix Faure Automobiles as the company’s second dealership in France.

Part of Groupe Vulcain – one of the country’s largest dealership networks – Felix Faure Automobiles is based in Lyon and will provide complete sales and service support for both LEVC’s  electric TX Taxi and VN5 Van.

As the country’s second largest economic centre, the latest appointment in Lyon increases LEVC’s European footprint further, with the region set to be the latest area to welcome both LEVC’s TX taxi and VN5 van to its streets.

With VN5 emitting less than 20g of CO2 per kilometre, LEVC’s van also qualifies for the French government’s grant scheme, the “bonus écologique” and the “prime à la conversion”.

“"We are pleased to welcome Felix Faure Automobiles into the LEVC family. France represents a key region that is fast-adopting more sustainable transport solutions, with new financial incentives put in place by the government to support the transition. We look forward to building our relationship with Felix Faure Automobiles as it enables us to offer complete support for customers in the region, as well as introduce our innovative TX and VN5 to new customers." ”

Alex Nan CEO of LEVC

““I am delighted to welcome the LEVC brand, rebirth of the mythical “black cabs”, to Félix Faure Automobiles. These new vehicles fit perfectly into an ecological transition necessary in urban areas and LEZs. LEVC is for us a brand that offers vehicles adapted to the needs of our customers whether in utilities or passenger transport. We are happy to be able to combine our strengths!"”

Nicolas Parent Head of Félix Faure Automobiles

LEVC’s electric TX taxi eliminates range anxiety, minimises CO2 emissions and optimises profitability thanks to its unique eCity technology. TX is an accessible and inclusive vehicle for all passengers. Wheelchair users are able to enjoy a forward-facing position, while TX has flexible space on board for up to six occupants. VN5 is based on the same innovative architecture and proven eCity technology as LEVC’s TX electric taxi.

With up to 5.5m3 capacity, VN5 cargo capacity easily accommodates two Euro sized pallets and offers a gross payload of up to 830kg. It has been built with a large side-loading door (enabling a pallet to be side-loaded) and a 60/40 split door at the rear to make loading and unloading easy for the driver.
