LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) continues to expand its UK dealer network with the appointment of a new sales partner, HTC Van Centre, providing complete sales support for the TX taxi and VN5 electric van across the Greater Manchester region.

HTC Van Centre, which is based in the Trafford area of the city, brings the number of UK-based LEVC sales locations to 17, along with more than 31 additional service centres across the country.

“We are delighted to welcome HTC Van Centre to our UK network, expanding LEVC’s presence in one of the UK’s major cities – Manchester. LEVC provides the leading solution for businesses looking for a no-compromise, flexible, purpose-built and green vehicle.”

Joerg Hofmann CEO of LEVC, commented:

“HTC Group is extremely proud to add LEVC to its commercial vehicle business. LEVC is a world-leading manufacturer of EVs and HTC is looking forward to showing the fantastic TX and VN5 products with our existing customer base, as well as introduce them to new customers along the way.”

Justin Seal HTC Group General Manager for Vans, said:

LEVC’s electric TX taxi eliminates range anxiety, minimises COemissions and optimises profitability thanks to its unique eCity technology. It offers a pure electric, zero-emission range of 64 miles (103km) and is capable of a total range of up to 318 miles (512km) thanks to its innovative range-extending technology. Regardless of age, gender or disability, TX is an accessible and inclusive vehicle for all passengers. Wheelchair users are able to enjoy a forward-facing position, while TX has flexible space on board for up to six occupants. It also qualifies for the Plug-in Taxi Grant (PITG), reducing its price by £7,500.

The VN5 electric van is based on the same innovative architecture and proven eCity technology as LEVC’s TX electric taxi. With a pure EV range of over 60 miles and a total flexible range of 304 miles, the VN5 is ideally suited to urban deliveries in zero-emission mode, as well as longer journeys outside of town.

With up to 5.5m3 capacity, the VN5’s cargo capacity can easily accommodate two Euro sized pallets and offers a gross payload of up to 830kg. It has been built with a large side-loading door (enabling a pallet to be side-loaded) and a 60/40 split door at the rear to make loading and unloading easy for the driver. It also qualifies for the Plug-in Van Grant (PIVG), reducing its price by £6,000.

In addition to HTC Van Centre, MotorSave will provide full aftersales and services support for LEVC’s TX electric taxi and VN5 electric van in the Manchester region, giving taxi and van drivers the complete dealer support experience.
