LEVC CHARGES INTO SPAIN WITH NEW MADRID PARTNER
- LEVC establishes first dealer in Spain with Auto Elia in Madrid
- Full sales and service support for TX electric taxi and new VN5 electric van
LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) announces its launch into the Spanish commercial vehicle market with the appointment of a new dealer partner, Auto Elia, in Madrid.
The showroom in the Spanish capital will provide customers full sales and aftersales support for LEVC’s TX Shuttle, based on the iconic London taxi, along with the company’s new electric van, VN5.

By partnering with Auto Elia in Madrid, this strategic move gives our TX and VN5 products great exposure and access to customers in the capital city and also supports the region’s ambition to accelerate the switch to electric commercial vehicles.”
Customers in Spain can take advantage of a number of government subsidies intended to improve the uptake of electric vehicles. The MOVES incentive was subject to a government-funded injection up to €800 million, the Energy Ministry confirmed in April, to make electric vehicles cheaper for both private motorists and business. As a result of the MOVES scheme, buyers can receive from 7000€ to €9,000€ off the purchase price of a new electric van, while customers could obtain greater benefits in some cities.

LEVC is seeing growing demand for its TX products in Europe, as taxi operators and on demand shuttle services switch to greener mobility solutions. TX and TX shuttle are powered by LEVC’s proven and innovative eCity technology, zero emissions capable for 63 miles (101km) yet with a flexible range of over 316 miles (510 km). Both TX models feature a spacious passenger environment with six passenger seats, wheelchair accessibility and a purpose-built partition separating the driver from occupants.
LEVC’s new electric van, VN5, is already on sale in the UK and will be launched in Europe at the end of May. Operating in the one-tonne sector, VN5 shares the same bold, distinctive design and lightweight aluminium construction as TX, as well as its innovative eCity electric technology. VN5 can achieve a pure EV range of over 60 miles (98 km) and a total flexible range of over 300 miles (489 km) and, with up to 5.5m3 capacity, VN5 cargo capacity easily accommodates two Euro sized pallets with a gross payload of 830kg.
